I recently watched a video, where I heard some bunch of ignorant folks chanting "school na scam".
Well, if you're part of them, don't bother reading this post, because it may offend you.
To start with as a Nigerian you've got to understand that being a Nigerian itself confers extra Responsibilities on your path to succeed.
While you may feel you may not want to use that degree after school, at least get one!
While I believe a university education is not the key to being successful in life, like I always say " it is a facilitative tool".
It is true some made it without a degree, but go ask them, the route is harder.
Do you know that one of the easiest means to international opportunities is on the basis of a degree?
Do you know that in a country like Canada, getting a job employment opportunity is based on your academic credentials assessment and a point grading system noting the measure of value you can give?
You may not have even finished with the best of grades. Don't worry, just have one!
While I believe in the place of God's favour in life, it is one thing to have had an opportunity to get a degree and then throw it off on the basis of ignorance and another thing never to have had such an opportunity.
Opportunities in life meet you at the point of your positivity in relation to your dimension for living.
It is part of being positive to do what is expected of one to do while one has the opportunity to do so .
