ASUU to hold final meeting, to agree whether Strike would hold or not

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), will today, February 4, reportedly hold a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting to finally decide on what action to take after the Federal Government’s refusal to implement a Memorandum of Action (MoA) both parties endorsed on February 7, 2019. 

According to Vanguard, Dr Dele Ashiru, the Chairman of ASUU, University of Lagos (UNILAG) chapter, said the meeting had become necessary in view of the dilly-dally approach of the government on the matter.
